Fair Haven Yacht Club

2024 Junior Sailing 

The Fair Haven Yacht Club is excited to be providing another year of Junior Sailing Instruction. Our program is an open program for members and community, for Sailors. age 8 - 17 at the time of the program. All participants must be swimmers. and able to pass a swim test without a life jacket.

Instruction will be for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. We will be sailing Optimist and 420 sailboats. Our J24 will be available for Advanced.

DATES

Classes will be the first two weeks of July and all classes will be 9am to 2pm. Sessions will be held as follows:

WEEK ONE: JULY 1,2,3,& 5th (there will be no class on July 4)

WEEK TWO: JULY 8,9 & 11,12. (On July 10 we will be hosting an Upstate Yacht Club Jr Sailing Program Regatta)

FHYC Jr Sailors are welcome to observe, and some of our experienced sailors will participate in the Regatta.

PROGRAM FEE

$195.00 per sailor per week.

Scholarships are available upon request by contacting the Director of Jr Sailing. Our desire is to develop sailors who will have skills to enjoy for a lifetime.
